She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Payne and Siddie Patterson Payne; and her daughter Lisa Byers. She is survived by: her husband Clyde O'Neal; her sons, Steve (Stephanie O'Neal) of McCaysville, GA and Dewayne (Tiffany O'Neal) of McCaysville, GA; her son-in-law Leroy Byers of Fairmount, GA; her grandchildren, Jordan Harris (Taylor), Jared Byers (Brooke), Kaitlyn Byers, Taylor Dickey (Jake), Abigail O'Neal, Will O'Neal and Olivia O'Neal; her great grandchildren, Cooper Harris, Sawyer Harris and Joanna Dickey; and her siblings, Marjorie Patterson (Clifton), Annie Mae Payne, Wesley Payne (Geraldine) and James Payne. She is also survived by other relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel (7871 Blue Ridge Dr, Blue Ridge, GA 30513). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that memorial contributions in honor of Mrs. O'Neal be made to the Mt. Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery Fund C/O Travis Couch at 93 Couch Drive, McCaysville, GA 30555.
