She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen N. Smith of Tucker; her son Michael D. Smith; her parents, Billy Bookmiller and Mary Bookmiller; and her siblings, Stanley Kirby, Frankie Doby and Kenny Bookmiller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Volk Lula (Michael), Jennifer Smith Maysville (Eva Richards) and Lisa Burbage Covington (Jason); her grandchildren, Mike Smith (Lisa) of Bellevue, NE, Cassie Belche (Nathan), Alexis Volk, Lula, Noah Volk of Montezuma, IN, Brittany McGinty and Mikensey Tillery (Kyle); and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Bookmiller and David Doby. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
