He is survived by: his wife Ora Dale Duckworth Carlan of Maysville; his daughter Crystal Fricks (Jeff) of Commerce; his granddaughter Kayla "Bug" Fricks of Commerce; his siblings, Thelma Brown of Homer, Evelyn Baker of Nicholson, Brenda Garrison (John) of Gainesville, Swayne Carlan (Queenola) of Maysville, Gene Carlan (Martha Jo) of Commerce and Pete Carlan (Sarah) of Lula; and his brother-in-law Nolen Pritchett of Maysville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
