He was predeceased by: his parents, Fannie Lou Garnto and William David Garnto; his siblings, William Clyde Garnto, Rodney Hall Garnto and Florence Garnto Hawkins; and his siblings-in-law, Roger B. Yawn, Roy M. Yawn and Hulda Yawn Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Vira Yawn Garnto; his brothers, Frank Garnto of Dublin, GA and Wendell Garnto (Jan) of Milledgeville, GA; his children, Terrance Lee Garnto, Sr. of Commerce, GA, Gerald Leon Garnto of Commerce, GA, Patricia Lynn Schimpf (Happy) of Chattanooga, TN and Robin Denise Parker (Michael) of Gillsville, GA; and his grandchildren, Terrance Lee Garnto, Jr. (Patre), Cory Thomas Garnto (Casey), Alexis Blair Eacret (Greg) and Ashton Brooke Herndon. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
