She was predeceased by: her parents, William Johnny and Lizzette Grindle Aikens, Sr.; and her siblings, Kenneth Aikens, Johnny Aikens, Jr. and Bobbie Jean Aikens.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Rhodes of Maysville; her daughter Amy Turpin of Maysville; her sisters, Cheryl Bryson of Danielsville and Margaret Brookshire of Dahlonega; and her grandchildren, Breanna Rhodes and Jacob Rhodes.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Diamond Hill Baptist Church (8875 Highway 82 Spur, Maysville, GA 30558). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
