With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joel Dean Anderson of Maysville, Georgia, born in Commerce, Georgia, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Anderson and Cora Marlow Anderson; and his siblings, Jimmie Anderson Kent, Jerry, Roy and Carl Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hickman Anderson of Maysville; his children, Joel W. Anderson (Jamie) of Maysville and Stacey Anderson Baxter of Maysville; his grandchildren, Emma Anderson, Colby Anderson, Hayden Thomas and Joely Baxter; and his brother Ray Anderson of Maysville.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holly Springs Methodist Church Cemetery (7441 Holly Springs Rd, Pendergrass, GA 30567).
