It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Jones of Maysville, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on August 12, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Jones and Evelyn Miller Jones of Maysville; and his daughter Heather Lea Jones Reimer of Seattle, Washington.. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Campbell Jones; his son Travis Lamar Jones (Christa) of Auburn; his stepchildren, Dawn Kaegael of Dallas, Dwight Murr, Jr. of Waxachie and Dallas Murr (Alicia) of Arlington, Texas.; his grandchildren, Talan Wayne Jones of Auburn and Jossylyn Heather Jones of Auburn; his stepgrandchildren, Jared Murr, Jordan Murr, Olivia Murr, Dwight Murr III, Savannah Murr, Michael P. Kaegael, Daniel, Joseph and Isabell Murr of Texas; his siblings, Jimmy Jones (Michele) of Talmo, Patsy Smith (Jimmy) of Oakwood and Cheryl Self (David) of Snellville; his stepmother Nila Jones of Florida; and his former wife Jacqueline Jones of Auburn. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
