He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur H. Sanders and Mamie Turpin Sanders; and his siblings, J. T. Sanders, Mary Sanders Highfield and Mildred Sanders Garrison.
He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Scott Sanders of Maysville; his son Ricky Sanders (Barbara) of Maysville; his grandchildren, Scott Sanders (Kelly) of Jefferson, Rob Sanders (Staci) of Jefferson and Tabitha Evans (David) of Commerce; his great grandchildren, Jenna, Hart, Hudsyn, Holt Sanders of Jefferson, Parker and Carter Evans of Commerce; and his siblings, Betty Lee of Maysville, Hazel Sanders Landrum (Tom) of Winterville and James Sanders (Loree) of Pendergrass. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
