He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Marshall and Rena Harry Simmons; his wife Helen Whitley Simmons of Mauk, GA; his children, Lisa (Reed Brand), Kim (Larry Ogan), Jason Adams of Columbus, GA and Jonathon (Jessica Simmons); his siblings, Carmen Simmons of Woodstock, GA, Margaret McCain of Jefferson, GA, Joyce (Tommy Hagler) and Sandra Hunter of Preston, GA.; his grandchildren, Chastin (Lauren Brand), Kali (Marty Evans), Keeli (Justin Martin), Luke Ogan, Jake Ogan and Cora Simmons; and his great grandchildren, Jeppie Brand, Bryer, Wiloh Evans, Tye, River, Cove and Rainy Reed Martin.
