He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Demitt Ridgely and Marguerite Akers Ridgely; and his brother Jim Ridgely. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Ridgely of Mauk; his sons, Eddie Ridgely of Lexington, SC and Chuck Ridgely (Penny) of Ft. Valley; his brother Clarence Lee Ridgely of Colorado; his nephew Harry Lee Ridgely (Shirley Ann) of West Virginia; his great-nephew Brandon Lee Ridgely of West Virginia; and his grandchildren, Nicole Ridgely, Raven Ridgely, Evan Ridgely, Raigan Wilder and Bryant Wilder.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McLeighton Funeral Service - Butler (39 W Main St, Butler, GA 31006). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Butler Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society, Diabetes Association or Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA.
