He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Teat and Mozelle Watson Teat; and his son James Noah Teat. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Teat; his children, Warren Teate (Gina) of Box Springs, GA, Sam Teate (Christine) of Mauk, GA, William Teate (Nikki) of Buena Vista, GA and Anna Teat of Butler, GA; and his brother Barney Teat (Sandra) of Mauk, GA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Taylor County Recreation Department.
