We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2024, at the age of 74, Dorothy Melinda Wadsworth Al-Azemi of Mauk, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Dorothy Melinda Wadsworth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dorothy Melinda Wadsworth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Wadsworth, Sr. and Dorothy Phillips Wadsworth; and her brothers, Herman Wadsworth and Milton Wadsworth. She is survived by: her son Matt Icard (Christy) of Ellaville, GA; and her siblings, Montez Woodall (Jack) of Mauk, GA and Elton Wadsworth of Butler, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Way-Watson Funeral Home-Ellaville (28 Oglethorpe St, Ellaville, GA 31806). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home (28 Oglethorpe St, Ellaville, GA 31806).
