He was predeceased by: his parents, Alford Hudgens and Rosie Lee Dailey Hudgens; and his brothers, Donnie Hudgens, Thomas Hogan and Rufus Hudgens.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Hudgens of Mauk; his children, Danny Hudgens (Lisa) of Butler, Chanse Hudgens (Laura) of Panama City, FL, Lisa Brown (Tim) of Sharpsburg, GA and Teresa Winsor of Butler; his stepchildren, Adam Averett (Kathy) of Butler and Brandy Short (Billy) of Butler; and his siblings, Alfred Hudgens (Deloris) of Lutherville, Faye Whatley of Butler, Janice Clark (Phillip) of Byron and Nancy Taunton (Halley) of Butler. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
