With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Milton Jr. of Matthews, Georgia, who passed away on September 11, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Florence Milton; his parents, Frances Walker Milton and James Raymond Milton; and his brother Larry Hildreth. He is survived by: his sons, James Milton (Staci) and David Milton (Jenny); his granddaughters, Grace Milton and Susan Milton; his sister-in-law Nell Hildreth; and his cousins, Ralph Jordan (Eve) and Darby Jordan.

Because of the family's respect and concern for public health and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. The wearing of face masks is strongly encouraged during any gathering.
