He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wallace and Martha Burford Culpepper; his sibling-in-law Burford W. Culpepper (Marie); and his nephew James. He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, James Culpepper and Florence Elizabeth Cherry (William); his nieces and nephews, Charles, Howard and Blaze Culpepper; his wife Patricia Sosby Culpepper; and his brother William O. Sosby (Edie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
