He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bankston Head and Cora Lloyd Head; his wife Evelyn Elizabeth Head; his son William Lloyd Head, Jr.; and his siblings, Andrew Head, Raymond Head and Charlotte Kiester.
He is survived by: his son Joseph Charles Head (Jackie); his grandchildren, Brandon Head (Tara), Brian "Buzz" Head, William L. Head, III and Karen Fitzpatrick (Jimmy); and his great grandchild Liam Head. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
