It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Taylor Murray of Martin, Georgia, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Murray and Carolyn "Carrie" Murray; his son Adam Murray; and his siblings, Patsy Bradshaw, James "Jimmy" Murray and William "Billy" Murray.
He is survived by: his wife Kerry Elaine Crawford; his daughter Megan Murray Wilhoit (Chad); his grandchildren, Patrick Murray, Jack Wilhoit and Savannah Wilhoit; his sister Linda Kuykendall; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Fuller (Robert) and Kim Crawford.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whitlock Mortuary, Inc. (120 Rose Ln, Toccoa, GA 30577).
To honor Ted's special relationship with his granddaughter, Savannah, and the joy he found watching her and her friends compete in the Spring Games, memorial donations may be made to the Stephens County.
