She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ollie Chaffin and Blonde Briley Elrod; her husband Loyd Melton; her daughter Deana Melton Mitchell; her son-in-law Matt; her son Ryan Melton; her daughter-in-law Melissa; her grandchildren, Lainey Mitchell and Garrison Mitchell; and her sisters, Elaine Elrod Broussard and Pamela Elrod Woodson.
