We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2024, at the age of 89, Lessie Lee Clayton of Martin, Georgia, born in Ellijay, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. James Clayton; her daughter Linda Clayton; and her siblings, Lois Porter, Leonard Cochran and Philip Cochran.
She is survived by: her daughter Libbie Dodd (Wayman) of Martin, GA; her grandchildren, Amanda Curry (Scott) of Martin, GA and Wesley Dodd of Martin, GA; her great grandchildren, Ansley, Sydney and Knox; and her sisters, Della Oliver of Buford, GA, Stella Tankersley of Ellijay, GA and Veda Payne (Larry) of Cumming, GA..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Shriners Children Hospital.
