With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Dean Creel of Martin, Georgia, born in Charleston, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2024 at the age of 47. He was predeceased by: his mother Nellie Ladd Brock Creel; and his sister Vivian Creel Redondo. He is survived by: his father Larry Lee Creel (Malovene) of Ruffin, SC; his wife Jeannie W. Daniel Creel; his children, Sabrina Linkous (Brad) of Toccoa, Beth Westbrook (Dustin Vinson) of Martin, Bradley Creel, Nevaeh Creel and Emily Creel; his grandchildren, Lisa Pitts, Cole Linkous, Gunner Linkous, Beau Linkous, Haelyn Vinson and Rylan Vinson; and his siblings, Penny Hernandez (Augusto) of Cottageville, SC, Marie Martin (James) of Walterboro, SC and Devon Creel of North Charleston. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home-Lavonia (355 Bear Creek Rd, Lavonia, GA 30553). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at the Burgess Cemetery (184 Arlington Dr, Lavonia, GA 30553).
Flowers are optional however the family request donations be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral cost.
