He was predeceased by: his parents, James Snowden and Mamie Maybell Miller Benson; and his wife Carol Annette Blanton Benson. He is survived by: his daughters, Ali Cunningham, Sally Walker and Jill. He is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
