He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Pierce and Vannon Pierce (Brock). He is survived by: his wife Carole Pierce (Pickren); his daughter Elva (Pierce); his son-in-law Ahmad Ramadan; his daughter Lindsay Yancey (Rice); and his grandchildren, Rya Ramadan, Tarek Ramadan, Jackson Yancey and Kali Yancey.
