Gwendoline Rogers Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gwendoline Rogers of Martin, Georgia, born in Norbiton, London, who passed away on February 8, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Martin Rogers; her parents, Albert Capper and Lydia Capper; her siblings, Peter Capper, Rita Turner and Michael Capper; and her great grandchildren, Ella Faith Shuford, Lillian Susanna Kaiser and Graham Thomas Kaiser.

She is survived by: her daughter Rita; her son-in-law Warren Groover of Statesboro; her sons, Glenn (Glenda Rogers), Tony (Michelle Rogers) and Brian (Ann Rogers); her sister Gillian Eastaugh of Bungay, England; her grandchildren, Sommer Shuford (Joseph), Kayla Anderson (Billy), Matthew Groover (Breanna), Kelly Nelms (Lamar), Kimberly Kaiser (Josh), Brent Rogers, Kyle Rogers, Cason Rogers, Dustin Rogers, Evan Rogers and Faith Ann Rogers; and also Ellen Lanier. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Those attending should follow the Covid-19 guidelines established by our local health department and the CDC.
