He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Gladys Southerland; his son James Isaac Southerland; and his sister Henrietta Southerland Hill. He is survived by: his sons, David Alan Southerland (Kerry), William Gary Southerland (Crystie), Roger Paul Southerland (Deborah) and Robert Charles Southerland (Heather); and his siblings, Charles Edward Southerland (Judy) and Nancy Elizabeth Massey (Mark). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
