She was predeceased by: her parents, James Tye and Sara Nell Vickery (Floyd). She is survived by: her husband Truman Burgess; her sons, Chuck (Renee Burgess) and Lyndon (Robin Burgess); her grandsons, Brady Burgess, Jared Burgess of Hartwell and Logan Thompson of Lavonia; her siblings, Malinda Welborn of Lavonia and Billy; and her sister-in-law Janice Vickery of Lavonia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
