He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Jack and Lucille Fowler Jaynes; his wife Linda Grace Fulbright Jaynes; his son Donald Edward Jaynes; and his brothers, Cecil Jaynes and Lewis Jaynes.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie Jaynes of Lavonia; his siblings, LeRoy (Claudine Jaynes) of Toccoa, Pete (Belinda Jaynes) of Toccoa and Sally Singleton of Toccoa; and his sister-in-law Lorette Jaynes of Westminster. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
