He is survived by: his mother Mary Ann Stow Turpin of Dahlonega; his wife Lolita "Dodie" Turpin of Martin, GA; his children, Rachael Strickland of Martin, GA, Desiree Strickland of Kennesaw, GA, Ashley Jones of Talmo, GA, Brittany Turpin of Cleveland, TN, Courtney Turpin, Maryshea DeLay of Chatsworth, GA and John Curtiss Eugene Turpin of Chatsworth; his grandchildren, Ryleigh Goodson, Bailey Jones, Everest DeLay, Scarlett DeLay and Layne Carson Waddell; and his siblings, Patty Turpin of Dahlonega and Ricky Turpin of Dahlonega.
