He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Stafford and Francis Ellison Stafford; and his sister Barbara Stafford Matthews. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lacey Stafford; his children, Suzy Jordan (Kelvin) and Alan Stafford; his grandchildren, Luke Walton (Sara Morgan), Clay Walton and Emma Grace Walton; and his siblings, Richard "Buster" Stafford (Lynn) and Mary "Leedie" Smith (Eldred).
