We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2021, at the age of 99, Gertrude Vines Brooks of Marshallville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Vines and Wessie Lee Jenkins Vines; and her husband Eugene Brooks. She is survived by: her children, Judith Tatman of Warner Robins, Walter Brooks (Glenda Johnson) of Baconton, Byron Brooks (Sybil) of Anderson, SC and Mark Brooks (Angie) of Americus; her grandchildren, Beth Wisham (Ben), John Brooks, Matthew Brooks, Laura Trent (Brian), Sarah Funderburke (Brian), Leanne Moore (Zach) and Margaret Arnold (Cam); and her great grandchildren, Tanya Trent, Emily Trent, Ethan Trent, Caleb Funderburke, Luke Funderburke and Hannah Funderburke.

Memorials may be made to Baconton Methodist Church, P.O. Box 115, Baconton, Ga. 31716.
