Earlene Burkes Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earlene Burkes of Marshallville, Georgia, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on June 10, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Sutfin Parish Parke and Gerald Earl Parish; her husband Tommie Koonce; her brothers, Gerald Parish and Rex Parish; and her husband Lemuel Burkes.

She is survived by: her pet Chihuahuas; her children, Tom Koonce of Marshallville, Kim Koonce Talbott (Chris) of Tucson, AZ and Brittany Burkes; her grandchildren, Talesha Koonce Monrreal (Jose) of Byromville, Tommie Koonce of Lily, Timothy Johnson (Tara) of Ft. Valley and Emili Koonce (Phoebe) of Hampton, VA; her siblings, Gwendolyn Hlusak (Tom), Vic Parish (Teresa) and Elden Parish (Mary); and her sister-in-law Cathy Parish. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
