He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Alton Johnson and Christine McKinney; his wife Jane Lacy Johnson; and his brother Henry Richard Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Doyle, Chuck and Deborah Johnson Thompson (Buck) of Perry, Georgia.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
