She was predeceased by: her parents, Hardy Hunter Holley and Leila McLaine Holley; her son Joey Hunter Davis; and her siblings, Larry Holley, Jack Burkes, Lemuel Burkes and Louise Red.
She is survived by: her husband John Ross Poole of Marshallville, Georgia; her children, John Walter Davis, Jr. (Rebecca) of Reynolds and Thomas Randolph "Randy" Davis (Cathy) of Fort Valley, Georgia; and her stepchildren, Peggy Morris (Randy) of Cordele, Jimmy Smith (Lynn) of Hampton, Sheba Johnson (Keith) of Arabi and Leila Rainey (Scott) of Cordele, Georgia.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren and eighteen step-great-grandchildren along with many other dear family members and friends.
