He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Dick" Johnson and Laverne Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Lovelace Johnson; his son Richard (Allison); and his grandsons, Andrew and Ethan.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. James Episcopal Church (161 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060-1693). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the St. James Episcopal Cemetery (139 Polk St NW, Marietta, GA 30060).
