William Derrick Farris Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Derrick Farris of Marietta, Georgia, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Glenn Farris and Elizabeth Herzberg Farris; his siblings, Sandra Farris Ragan and Milton Carl Farris; his nephew Evan Borg Farris; and his niece Sandra Leigh Ragan.
He is survived by: his siblings, Janet Farris Boden (Walter) and Stewart Glenn Farris (Susan); his sister-in-law Peggy Borg Farris; his children, Corey Farris (Jennifer Gerson) and Lexia Farris (Ryan Bell); and his grandchildren, Arden Uffalussy and Sidney Farris.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Chattahoochee National Parks Conservancy (https://www.chattahoocheeparks.org; CNPC, PO Box 769332, Roswell, Georgia 30076), to help care for the parks Derrick enjoyed jogging on and spending time with his family in throughout his life.
