We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2024, at the age of 88, Wilbur Lamar Roberts of Marietta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Lois Roberts; his wife Sara Jean Folendore; his siblings, Jewell (Virgina) and Charles; and his grandfather Wilbur Lamar Roberts.

He is survived by: his father Fred Roberts; his children, Mark Roberts (Donna), Sherrie Goodwin (Leroy) and Wanda Bland (Jerry); his grandchildren, Zachary Goodwin, Brittani Clark (John), Casie Moore (Bobby), Jacob Roberts (Bianca), Seth Bland (Jackie) and Sara Aultman (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, Rayne, Carolyn, Huddler, Paxton, Collins and Ada Jean. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“My condolences to Mark, Sherrie, Wanda and extended family members. Uncle Wilbur was my Big Brother when I grew up. He took to the movies, he rode me on his motorcycle, he took me on his dates with Aunt Jean, he got me a job with his highway construction company 1 summer in Dublin GA working on I-16. I loved him like a bother. He will be missed by many. I know one day I shall see him again in Heaven with many of our family members. God Bless & Comfort all the extended family. Larry Weaver”
