He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Jones and Skip Saldivar; and his siblings, Mark Saldivar and Jennifer Gahagen. He is survived by: his wife Susan Saldivar; his daughters, Taylor Cartmell (Matt) and Katie Walters (Chase); his grandchildren, Grayson and Harper Walters; and his siblings, Heather Jones and Bill Jones. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home (180 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060).
