He was predeceased by: his brother Mac Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Janice Carlile of Marietta; his son Garrick; his daughter-in-law Jessie Lewis of Thomasville, N. C.; his daughter Jessica; his son-in-law Joey Otero of Woodstock; his sisters, Terrena Cox (Doug) of Powder Springs, Tammy Ray of Archdale, N. C. and Heather Smith of High Point, N. C.; and his grandchildren, Gavyn Lewis, Ella Lewis, Madison Lewis, Ethan Otero, Holden Otero and Evie Otero.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carmichael Funeral Home - Marietta (1130 Whitlock Ave SW, Marietta, GA 30064). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Memory of Sam Lewis to The Creepers Car Club Fun Run, where all the money contributed is donated to Children's Health Care of Atlanta and The Special Olympics of Georgia, Cobb County. Keep Sam's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
