He was predeceased by: his parents, Vida Woodruff and Rudolph Woodruff; and his sister Jimmie Irene Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Stace Huff (Vince), Brittany Maddox (Matt), Natalie Woodruff-Wilhelm (Debra) and Renae Baylard (Lloyd); his grandchildren, Alec Huff, Woodson, Matilda, Paxton Maddox, Lucas, Gia Woodruff-Wilhelm and Anna Wombles; his great grandchild Ava Jane Owens; his nephew Gregg Rogers; and his niece Gina Duty of Louisville.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:55 PM at the First Baptist Church of Marietta (148 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
