He was predeceased by: his wife Nanci Heinzer; his grandson Nicholas Bradigan; and his sister Polly Willard. He is survived by: his children, Robert W. Scruggs II (Mary), Kimberly Bradigan (Greg), Amy M. Raminger (Chris) and Michael Scruggs (Tonya); and his grandchildren, Madison, Tripp Scruggs, Savannah Bradigan and Cody Scruggs.
