Robert Murphy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2024, at the age of 88, Robert Murphy (Marietta, Georgia), born in Chester, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Miles Murphy and Marie Elizabeth. He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Pam), Tom (Lisa) and Kevin (Cindy); and his siblings, Ken (Debbie) and Elaine (Dennis). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roswell Funeral Home (950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA 30076). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anne's Catholic Church (4905 Roswell Rd, Marietta, GA 30062).
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made in his memory to Parkinson's Foundation, the Cancer Foundations, and Catholic Charities USA.
