He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hester Mae Earle Rodgers of Middlesboro and Robert Ligon Rodgers of Toccoa, Georgia.; his wife Phyllis; his daughters, Nancy Rodgers Cotney, Mary Rodgers Seel (Anthony Seel) and Sally Rodgers Hanna (Frank Hanna); his grandchildren, Laura Cotney (Branson Simmons), Rebecca Seel, Daniel Seel (Morgan Johnson) and Elizabeth Hanna Pham (An Pham); and his great grandchildren, Joseph Pham, Nicholas Pham, Gabriel Pham, Christopher Pham, Blaise Pham, Rosemary Pham, Moses Pham, Finley James Simmons and Baby Pham.
A Mass was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (4465 Northside Dr NW, Atlanta, GA 30327). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM.
