It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Larry Tyus (Marietta, Georgia), born in Alma, Georgia, who passed away on August 6, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Tyus and Margaret Tyus. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughters, Lindsey Tackett and Lauren Carroll (Bryan); his grandchildren, Luke, Lahna Ann Tackett, Landon and Logan Carroll; and his siblings, Lane Tyus (Fritzie), Margaret Anne Gaines (Jesse), Linda Summers (Jeff) and Jeff Tyus (Robin). He is also survived by 4 nieces and 5 nephews, and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
