He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Emma Gilmer and Reverend Arthur Clayton Gilmer. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Gilmer; his children, Steve Hathcock, Ashley Stenglein and William Hathcock; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Gardner, Luke, Pete, Havi, Liza, Liam and Levi.
