With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Suhr Hunter of Marietta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Mayes Suhr and Robert N. Suhr (Red); her siblings, Mary Suhr and Bob Suhr; and her granddaughter Hope Frances Hunter.
She is survived by: her husband David F. Hunter; her children, David Frasure Hunter, Jr. (Garrett), Holly Hunter Durham (Brett), Mitchell Morris Hunter (Jaillene) and Emmie Hunter O'Sullivan (Missy); her grandchildren, David Hunter III, Livie Hunter, MaryMayes Durham, Maddie Durham, James Hunter, Sam Hunter, Mitchell Hunter, Tate Hunter and Alice Ann O'Sullivan; her siblings, Lindy Wyche (Bubba) and Scott Suhr (Sally); her nephew Dylan Suhr; and her nieces, Abby Byrd, Anna Suhr and Lauren Gerndt.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Nancy Hunter Mentoring for Leadership Scholarship Fund.
