He is survived by: his wife LaVerne Pharr; his daughter Saiward Pharr Hromadka; his son-in-law Jared Hromadka of Baton Rouge; his granddaughters, Margaret and Vivian Hromadka; his sister Mary Nell Pharr of McRae; his nephew Marshall Wilkes of Sandy Springs; his sister-in-law Marie Hunt of McRae; his nephew Brian Hunt of Savannah; and his cousin Ronnie Wilcox of Hazlehurst.
Instead of flowers, to honor Mayo, the family requests a charitable contribution and suggests donations to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, to help others battling the disease he faced.
