She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Silas Carmichael and Bert Carmichael Jr.; and her brother Tom Carmichael. She is survived by: her husband Jere Brownlow; her children, Bo Brownlow (Sharon) and Sandefur Porter (Matthew); her grandchildren, Claudia, Silas and Orson; and her brother Bert Carmichael III.
