She was predeceased by: her parents, James G. Hampton, Sr. and Mavis Carson Hampton Nix; and her stepfather Joseph Nix. She is survived by: her close friend Vic Carroll; her son Michael Joseph Corbin; her siblings, Judy Patterson (Jim), Jim Hampton (Kate), Pam Perkerson (Paul) and Lisa Hampton (Phil); and her nieces and nephews, Ashlynn Campbell, Shawna Riddle, Wade Hampton, Paul Perkerson, Jr., Jim Perkerson and Daryl Appling.
