It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Webb Steed of Marietta, Georgia, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Larry Webb Steed to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Steed and Ruby Steed (Webb); and his siblings, Billy, Kenneth, Laverne, Judy Sloan, Jean Russell and Miriam Perry.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Steed; his children, Anthony Steed (Karen), Cindy Steed, Connie Strunk (Darryl), Sam Steed (Lori Wallace) and Matthew Steed (Keri); and his sister Ruby Carol Parker.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Carmichael Funeral Home - Smyrna (2950 King St SE, Smyrna, GA 30080). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, honoring Mr. Steed's memory and the values he held dear.
