He is survived by: his wife María Claudia Ortega; his children, Óscar, Laura and María Alejandra; and his siblings, Beatriz, Mercedes, Gladis, Estela, Elena, Mariana, Humberto, Ramiro, Ismael, Gerardo, Libardo, Juan Carlos, Álvaro and Rodrigo.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Southern Cremations & Funerals - Marietta (1861 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (535 Rucker Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30004). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the St. Thomas Church (535 Rucker Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30004).
