He is survived by: his children, Taylor Ricketts of Ellijay, GA, Deidra Ricketts Toache (Jason Toache) of Canton, GA and Mebrahtu Gobena (Mo) of Reno, NV; his sister Melissa Ricketts Attridge (William Attridge); his nephew Will Attridge of Marietta, GA; his brother Greg Ricketts (Holly Ricketts); his nieces and nephews, Zachary and Jebb Ricketts of Canton, GA; and his brother Christopher Ricketts (Rachel Ricketts) of Jasper, GA..

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Jeffrey S. Ricketts' memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
